Love Is Burning |

written 2008 © 2010 by T. Hubbard
I know the sky is blue,
the trees are all alive, and I know that love is
true, but the fire took me by surprise. I can feel the lttle
child, there's a smile inside my heart, like to be free and wild
but we're bound right from the very start. Can't you see that love is
burning? Into fire life is turning. One way to be light
forever, the other will be ashes and pain. Wake up the sun is risin',
you got to be realizin', the time for your decision
has come and gone. And in the real live
story, as Truth unfolds its' glory, pay attention to its'
call. I did my dreamin' in the
land of light, simply
knowin' everything's all right, but I didn't look at what
I didn't see, till it
stepped right up in front of me. And though I still
remember that Loves' full surrender, would catch you when you
fall. Just to the left of here
is a place without a time. Just throw away your fear,
and move to the rhythm and rhyme. I'd live to take you
there, but you all know the way. No one could make the
fare, you just get burned if you go on that way. Can't you see that love is
burning, feel the wheels of fire
turning? One way to fly forever, no
other could come back again. Come on there's no more
waitin', been so long anticipatin',
there's no more time to
talk about what's goin' on. And in the final hour, if
you find the power,
then you'll remember all.
I had to tell you that I'm
doin' fine, that don't mean that I pretend I'm blind, it's the fire that makes the light, and love that keeps it burnin' bright.
