The Morning Shelter |

We
were hiding in the morning's shelter, waiting for the sun. Talking
about the weather, before it had all begun, and
no rain was coming down. No rain. Well
we talked until the evening, of woes, and wars, and fate, waiting
for the day to begin though it was already late. Then
the door flew open wide, something bright stepped inside. We were colliding and everybody felt like hiding, then
a band began to play, this is what the song was heard to say; "If
you close your eyes, how will you tell the truth from lies? you
know you only have to try, and you can fly." So
we wrapped our world around us, like shrouds of shadow night, but
the day had already found us, we were surrounded by the light. The
light... oh the light. Dreaming
of the past, you know that time could never last. You know your love could set you free, but
you've always had that to be. You
know you only have to try, and you can fly. Only
have to try, and you can fly.
