The Lyrics of Terry Hubbard

Now Here It Is

written 2001 ©  2001 - 2006 by Terry Hubbard

Now here it is, it’s the last days.

Not much left you can do.

It was all decided before we ever knew.

Not that that’s such a bad thing, it’s really hard to tell

‘cause it seems that someone’s heaven

is someone else’s hell.

I won’t pretend I don’t know a way,

But who would listen to what I say.

Time keeps goin’ an’ it won’t slow down.

I ain’t wastin’ mine on what’s goin’ down.

Still would like to have prevented

the final arrogant mistake.

Casting themselves into darkness

with any souls that they could take.

Don’t you all remember?

This has all been said before.

Can’t hold on to the Spirit of Love

if  you’re marchin’ off to war.

Not that that’s such a bad thing, it’s really hard to tell

‘cause it seems that someone’s heaven

is someone else’s hell.

If you got a light you better let it shine.

From what I can tell, couldn’t be no better time,

and if it’s true that this is the end

then why am I still dreamin’?

I wouldn’t want this to happen,

it wasn’t in my plans,

but unlike some I wouldn’t force my way

so this is how it stands.

Not that that’s such a bad thing, it’s really hard to tell

‘cause it seems that someone’s heaven

is someone else’s hell.
