Then the Truth came walkin’ got everyone talkin’,

He said, “The Truth shall set you free.”

 

But the priests and kings, and their precious things,

Gold and silver denied.

They built their temples on children’s bones,

and everything they did was a lie.

He said, “God is our Father.”

He said, “Today is the moment.”

He said, “Love is all you need.”

But they made their wars behind closed doors,

Tryin’ to kill the seed.

 

Don’t you cry, their plan of destruction 

won’t go down.

Don’t ask why, 

get off the streets and touch the ground.

Touch the sky, 

life has every answer that can be found.
