The Lyrics of Terry Hubbard

Too Much, Too Little

written 1995  © 1995 -2007 by T. Hubbard

There’s too many people, too little design, so much deception one cannot define,

and a little bit of heaven ain’t so easy to find

when you’re livin’ in a world that’s been left behind,

and a little bit of hope, it’s plain to see, ain’t worth much in this reality.

But the sun has cleared the horizon on this dawn of a different day.

If there’s anyone still left out there, get down on your knees and pray.

One rider came to conquer, his right hand man was war.

Another one came the measure the weight, and the last one reaped the score.

There’s too much confusion, too little divine. So much desire and no satisfy.

And a little bit of justice don’t go to the fair.

No fire breathin’ dragon’s gonna clean up the air,

And a little bit of Truth won’t save your head,

say a little too much, you’re gonna be dead.

There was an angel in the garden, and an angel by the sea,

one more on the mountain, and in the desert don’t you see.

There’s too many people, too little design, so much deception one cannot define,

and a little bit of heaven ain’t so easy to find

when you’re livin’ in a world that’s been left behind,

and a little bit of hope, it’s plain to see, ain’t worth much in this reality.
