CHILD WARS

by T. Hubbard

You’re scarin’ the kids to death,

Makin’ ‘em lash out in fear.

You’re teachin’ ‘em lies to contemplate,

And nothin’ ‘bout bein’ here.

Does it make you larger to condemn frightened children?

Are your laws made so right by the sheerness of unassailable walls?

Who are you to sit there in your lofty chair,

And cancel lives with the stroke of a pen?

You make wars for children to fight,

How dare you lay a claim on right?

You were never elected but trained and selected

to carry out the demon rule.

True, it is sad, but in Truth it makes me glad,

That after all, and in the end

you are just a lost pawn, and an utter fool.
