T. Hubbard This one needs an short explanation. I attempted to submit a song to the "John Lennon Song Contest." What a joke! Or should I say "Yoke?"
Though I am sure you are all secure, with the current situation, There was a time with music sublime, we changed the entire nation. That Spirit new with the wind that blew, and uplifted an entire generation. There was a chance to be part of the dance, for everyone to participate. And John sang songs an attempt to right some wrongs, with a new world to co-create. With rhythm and rhyme, were we just in time, too soon or just too late? ‘Cause we all know the history, we all felt the shot, but some of us swore to keep the dream, though St. Lennon himself had said it was done. To lift our voices, guitars, and songs, in Truth and Love was not as easy as it may seem, but just imagine he was not the only one! For those now endowed living with the opulent crowd, does it come as easy as all that? Is your mind on fire? Does your soul conspire from within the economic fat? Have you been to the street,,touched the earth with your feet? Do you know just where that’s at? And here I come today, to offer up a song. Is that so wrong? Should that be so hard? That even my dedication, To the past magic revelation that Love is all you need, Oh how that love is scarred! Should be so desired, Aye! Even required! That I must have a credit card!
